Anglican Communion Fund Covid Appeal

Together in Unity

THANK YOU!

The Together in Unity COVID Appeal has raised over £350,000 to support the ministry of the Church in areas of great need. Your generosity has made it possible for us to deliver practical help, hope and love during the coronavirus pandemic across the communion; together, in unity.

Please watch this message of personal thanks from Archbishop Justin Welby:

The demands upon churches to lead and serve are enormous, in a time when many have been pushed into crisis mode, facing significant financial pressures as church closures and lost income have affected offerings.  Through donations from the Together in Unity COVID Appeal, the Anglican Communion Fund has allocated over 50 grants totalling £280k across the Communion to support churches in providing food and necessities to the vulnerable, delivering basic hygiene and sanitation equipment, and communicating virus prevention messaging and training.

The pandemic has had a disproportional impact on the poor. It has been exacerbated by poverty, conflict, migration and refugees, and failure of the state. It has aggravated issues such as gender-based violence and human trafficking.  The continuation and expansion of our vital support is critical, and the ACF is committed, with your ongoing help, to expand the reach and breadth of much needed help for the Communion around the world.

If you haven’t yet given, or wish to donate again, please do so.  Once again, thank you for joining with us, together in unity.
